工作坊背景(Background)

维多利亚(中国)教育集团自2005年以来,每年为外语教师们提供常规IB课程培训。如今,2019年10月12日-13日,来自上海/苏州/杭州校区的外语教师们参与了为期两天的IB课程工作坊,整整两天的培训日程丰富、有趣并且充实。教师们在理解IB课程核心理念的同时,更是对维多利亚的使命加以理解,他们学会将课程理念与实际操作相结合,怀揣着坚定的信念和价值-如何成为一位专业且负责的好教师,专注于在今后的教学过程中提高自身的教授技巧,不断地引导孩子们以积极正面的态度去学习,去适应,去沟通。

Starting from 2005, Victoria (China) Education Group has been dedicated to providing regular IB workshops to all  teachers. On 12th -13th October 2019, English teachers from Shanghai/Suzhou/Hangzhou campuses of Victoria (China) Education Group attended a two-day IB workshop. The schedule was packed full with inquiry activities, learning and fun. While teachers learned the core concepts of IB curriculum, they also worked to better understand the mission of Victoria, and to combine the theoretical aspects and practical methods of teaching. Upholding the values and vision to be professional and responsible teachers, they were focusing on developing approaches to guide children’s positive attitudes in their learning, their environment, and the people around them.

第一天 Day One

一天的培训以破冰的形式为开端,教师们热情洋溢地互相介绍自己,随后讲师Inga Bela对于IB的基本理念给予充分的讲解,例如IB六大超学科学习单元, 十大培养目标、7个国际化视野的定义、以及如何在关爱、信任、尊重的环境下营造创新的教育环境。老师们根据不同年龄阶段的特色制作精美的宣传海报,在丰富的互动游戏和互相提问的环节后圆满的结束了当天的陪训。

The first day of training started with an ice-breaker activity, teachers from different campuses introduced themselves each other passionately, and followed with the presentation from the trainer, Inga Bela.The presentation ensured teachers fully understood the general information of IB curriculum, such as, IB transdiciplinary themes, learner profile, key concepts, approaches to learning, the definition of becoming international minded, and how to develop innovative learning and teaching environments in a caring, reliable, respectful and inclusive atmosphere. Teachers were very engaged in designing unique posters according to different age ranges, and the workshop day ended with creative interactive games and reflection of their own learning.

第二天 Day Two

第二天的培训以团队协作为主体,教师们先对前一天的培训内容做基本的回顾,学会在课程设计的环节中将理念代入,更好的灌输给孩子们正面的指引,小组讨论环节,对学生档案的计划,制作,并管理以及小组竞技比赛中,“楼塔搭建”的环节更是让讲师佩服到每位成员发挥的余热。当天最后的总结回顾环节更是正常培训的高潮,所有教师被划分为5个小组,针对两天的所学所用,可以用任何的方式来呈现。我们更是看到了学前教师充满戏剧性的表演,包括军师演练、舞蹈表演、诗歌朗诵等,将培训画上了圆满的句号。

On the second day, teachers reviewed what they have learned. Working in teams, teachers presented their understanding of “AGENCY“ within the IB curriculum. Through lots of collaborative activities, they understood the importance of incorporating choice and voice while designing learning experiences. To conclude the two days of workshops, groups showed ownership of their learning through performances in styles of their own choice, resulting in innovative and exciting presentations of drama, poetry, dancing, singing and even military training!
