爆竹辞旧，春风送暖，跟着春天的脚步我们又迎来了新的学期。在这个美好祥和的日子里，我们全体师生欢聚在美丽的校园，共同迎接新的成长历程。一个个身着唐装的小朋友们神采奕奕的回归幼儿园，一张张笑脸映衬着满园的新年装扮，整个幼儿园都充满着生机活力。After the Chinese New Year holiday and along with the approaching warm spring, a brand new school term has just started! The first two days of school saw excited students and teachers wearing traditional Chinese clothes gathered at Victoria to celebrate the school opening ceremony and the Lantern Festival.
新的一年，园长妈妈对小朋友们寄予了很大的期望，不仅送上了新年祝福，还带来了开学礼物——可爱的小狗。For the start of the New Year and the new term, Principal Holly expressed her wishes and hopes to the students and also brought them lovely gifts.
精彩的贺开学的节目也在紧锣密鼓的展开。帅气的英文老师Rhian一展歌喉；Josh手上的吉他拨动着欢快的音符。新的学期，新的起点，托小班和中大班的老师们操节秀闪亮登场，活泼动感的节奏、协调一致的动作，相信孩子们也会收获很多。神奇的魔术表演带给孩子们新一轮的感官盛宴，也将整台活动推向了高潮。At the Opening Ceremony, Teacher Rhian showed his amazing singing talent, accompanied by Teacher Josh’s skilled guitar playing. K1 & PK teachers performed a Chinese rhythmic dance while K2 &K3 teachers did an English one. At the end was a sensational magic show that was amazing for all students and teachers!
开学正值元宵佳节，可爱的爷爷奶奶们来到了幼儿园，给小朋友们带来了精彩的中国传统文化展示与表演。苍劲有力的书法，出神入化的国画、特色的民族歌舞、京剧表演，舞剑……校园充满了浓浓的传统文化气息！无论是小朋友们还是老师们都忍不住称赞长辈们的过人风采，更惊叹于传统文化的博大精深。这些独特的文化体验，让我们为传统文化的瑰宝感到深深的自豪与骄傲！The Lantern Festival arrived when students returned the school. We had grandparents to celebrate the Chinese traditional festival with us. Some showed their ability in creating difficult Chinese charactersand some beautiful Chinese paintings. Some sang, danced, some performed Peking Opera and sword dancing. It was a great feast of Chinese traditional culture.
班级庆元宵活动也在有条不紊的展开。做汤圆当然必不可少啦。取小块面团——搓圆，一个个晶莹剔透的汤圆出锅了，孩子们一个个吃的津津有味。而猜灯谜、制作灯笼等活动也给孩子们带来了一个全新的元宵节活动体验。Back in the classroom celebrations for the Lantern Festival began. Tangyuan was essential. Children made Tangyuan and took them home to cook. More activities such as guessing lantern riddles, making lanterns just brought more fun for the day.
