实践活动 - 大班学生主导会议之家长约见 K3 End of Year Parent-Student Conferences

          本学期大班家长约见的形式是采用“学生主导的会议”的理念推行,有别于以往老师和家长一对一的模式,这次是以幼儿为主导的,与爸爸妈妈面对面汇报自己在幼儿园中学到的本领;每位幼儿都是一名反思者,反思自己这一年的成长与需要进步的方面。在家长约见的这一天,孩子们一页页地翻开成长档案,成长中的每一个印记:一幅画、一张照片、语言、数学、社交等技能的评估都跃然纸上;老师的评语精炼的概括了孩子的成长;孩子们的反思随之而来,进步与不足清晰地在脑海中浮现。作为一名小小的反思者,孩子们想对家长们说:“谢谢你们陪伴我成长,给我一个温暖的港湾,任我疯任我闹。”这一席话把爸爸妈妈们感动得稀里哗啦。而家长们也是有备而来哦~一封封信是他们对孩子深深的纯纯的爱;看着孩子们从呱呱坠地、牙牙学语、蹒跚学步到现在即将毕业,他们回顾着孩子们的成长点滴,同时又寄语了无限希望。他们希望这群即将成为小学生的孩子们更加独立与坚强;希望他们可以做一名“敢于冒风险的人”尝试更多新鲜的事物,接受这样那样的挑战;希望他们继续做“富有同情心的人”,关心爱护周围的人和事;更希望他们做一名“探究者”,保持着那一份童真和好奇心,努力探秘未知的世界,并且努力成长为“全面发展的人”;在维多利亚这条启迪探索精神的“母亲河”的基础上,奔流不息,汇入更广阔的大海——小学及以后的生活。这次活动,在孩子们和家长们的交谈中慢慢落入尾声,这是一次大胆地尝试。在此刻,上演了许许多多精彩纷呈的故事,亲子互相欣赏着回忆着。在此刻,共祝愿所有的宝贝健康成长,以维多利亚为根发芽并茁壮成长为参天大树。

Instead of the teachers leading the end of term conference after three years of learning at the kindergarten, we empowered the students to discuss their developmental report with their parents. They reflected on the skills they have developed, their strengths and areas that need improvement.  Even on a beautiful sunny day, we had some teary eyes in the classroom. The parents shared their love and were so proud of their childs growth. They discussed their progress in language, math, and social skills. They reviewed the teachers comments and reflected on the progress they made throughout the year. Everyone thanked their parents for accompanying them on this wonderful journey and for being the loving parents that they are. The parents also came prepared on this day. They wrote letters to their children expressing their love and documenting the growth they witnessed from their perspective. Seeing them grow from babies into strong, independent, courageous and compassionate individuals provides a very special feeling. Hoping their children hold on to their childlike innocence and curiosity to explore the world and to continue forward as they move on to primary school. As the event came to a close, the students expressed their gratitude with a hug and a kiss. It was important toallow the students to lead this session, promoting student-parent communication and reflection, while giving the parents a chance to send their blessings. During this time both the parents and students could share some wonderful stories and allow each other to share their appreciation. At this time, we wishthe students happy and healthy growth. Their time at Victoria is the germination of the seed, and they will proceed to grow into tall, towering trees.
